Shameless Self-Promotion
I’ve created a Facebook fan page! I’ll do something interesting like give away a book or answer one question about one of the series, when I reach 100 fans, and another when I reach 250.
I have also joined twitter, as ce_murphy. I’m still trying to figure out what to do with it, but I’m there!
I also might suggest everyone sign up for my announcements-only mailing list, which is low volume (2 emails a month max, and that’s only if I forget something or something very exciting happens after the first time around).

Apparently its basic idea is that it’s an on-going live chat. If you click on your username over on the right side under the “home” link, it’ll give you a list of responses that anybody’s made to your posts. It is, as far as I can tell, completely silly. :)

sorry I don’t have a live journal and I can not leave a comment there without having an account. I read about your hair cutting problem, I myself am a stylist; your best bet to grow out your hair is to tell then cut the back, blend it with your current growth and touch nothing else. Once you get a stylist that knows your hair, stick with them. Flyby cuts never end well but if you find someone you are comfortable with even if they are not perfect the first time, you can always go back and say keep this change this, based on what they had previously done. I hope that wasn’t too confusing, if you have any hair questions I am the one to ask. Much luck on growing it out, however with all of your exercising it should grow out rather quickly. Also you could add B12, super Bcomplex, and/or biotin to your vitamin regime; those will help. Enjoy your day and sorry again that I must post here.

No problem, ReBecca! You can actually comment anonymously at LJ and if you sign your name I’ll approve the messages–they’re just screened so spam doesn’t automatically get posted. :)
Thank you very much for the pointers on what to tell them! That’s really incredibly helpful. And I’ve been going to the same place for the last two or three haircuts, so they’re getting to know me at least. Thank you again!

Hey, I picked up a copy of ‘Urban Shaman’ in our local Forbidden Planet store and I’m really enjoying it! I particularly like your sense of humour (it’s good to read a fantasy novel that doesn’t take itself tooo seriously) and your style reminds me a little of Raymond Chandler (hope that’s not taken as an insult, cos it’s intended as a compliment!) Joanne is a great heroine. I’m looking forward to reading the other books in the series.
best wishes
