Saw your hand. Ouch. Might want to look into the software 'Naturally Speaking Dragon'. You talk, it types. Feels like cheating.

I also wanted to say, I'm really enjoying the Negotiator series alot. I sorta gave up on you after book 2 and 3 of Urban Shaman. I loved book 1 but thought in book 2 and 3 the girl was just two clueless for someone who was supposed to be a practitioner, disappointed thought the series had so much more potential.

But you're redeemed yourself with the Negotiators. Looking forward to reading the Queen's Bastard too.

I'm a few weeks late on this, but I sincerely hope your hand has fully recovered. My fingers were jam-prone in high school. Oh, the pain!

I had a hand-accident last week: Was at a pub, cheering on a football team. They scored and I punched what I thought was the air above me but was instead a low-hanging wooden beam. Knuckle Crunch! Ouchies and great embarrassment ensued.

We have to take better care of our hands these days!

Hey Starfire,

Just as a heads up the link, as it stands in your comment with the period immediately after it, doesn't work when you click on it. After you delete the period after the .html part it, of course, works. Also, your reviewing prowess is indeed mighty and you might want to think about posting your review at Amazon.com? I'm sure it'd go far in helping people decide whether or not to buy the book.

Ms. Murphy, O Author Supreme,

My sympathies for the ouch-lookin' fingers. I'll throw in some healin' vibes with Starfire's, if you don't object. I'm sure once you're up to speed you'll have no trouble makin' up for lost word count, if you're worried about it - but 30k in a week is a good run, I wouldn't worry about a slow week after one like that. Although the only time I have to write under a deadline is during NaNoWriMo, lol.

Peace to you both,

Owwww! That looks sore, and a load of not fun. Hope you don't mind me thinking a healing thought or two your way in the hope it speeds up the healing time!

Oh, and I finally got Heart of Stone off my reading pile and finished it last week. I totally, totally loved it - very different to the Walker Papers, and to be honest, I think I liked it more (I liked Jo as a character, but I found myself liking and identifying with Margrit even more strongly than I used to with Jo).

I'm not quite sure if you like people posting links to reviews here (some authors seem to love it, some not so much), but I've reviewed it as one of my 100-book challenge books this year at http://starfirenz.livejournal.com/372063.html.

Blessings, and thanks for the great stories
