Yay! I made you beam! : ) I really did love to see her! If she is in the next book, I'll be happy, and if not, that's okay too. She deserves a bit of a rest.

Now I want the next book even more, but I can wait.

Good luck with everything you are working on! and thanks a bunch : )

Just finished Walking Dead (for which I have been waiting since well before I knew it was likely to exist--more or less since immediately after I finished Coyote Dreams about a week after its release) and you have once more done a great job.

You were actually worried about slipping back into Jo's head? It honestly seems you never left. She's got such an incredibly different voice and presence than Margrit, and it amazes and pleases me how beautifully you pull off writing two exceptional, strong, and wholly unique women. Though to be perfectly honest, I'm always going to prefer Jo over Grit, because Jo's someone who's naturally weird enough I'd actually know her. You had me in silent snickering stitches over the llama faces.

Now, I'm very happy to hear the next Walker Papers installment is arriving with less intervening time. Because while I was most certainly satisfied by Walking Dead, the ending did leave me feeling a little stymied. Talk about a fast wrap-up! I know some readers hate "unnecessary" continuation after the climax, but I'm a firm believer in the let-down, gentle or other. Otherwise it's a little like coming down off a high, fast ride so fast you're expelled from the seat and out of the park before your stomach's come back from the last peak. And you're killing me over Coyote! I'm crossing fingers, toes and eyeballs hoping he's not just up and dead, but I'm also willing to safely bet you've got more complicated things in store than that.

...Aaaand, I just realized I may be edging into spoiler territory with my enthusiasm. Let me try and mentally back up to a safer distance.

It was great seeing the whole major cast again, and god, you really know how to make a girl wish she had her very own Gary Muldoon. It was also wonderfully fantastic to see certain returnees from books past, and to be teased with all those... possibilities. What a wistful feeling, even vicariously.

So, with all my warbling and rambling, what I'm saying is you did damn fine work, dear, and I can't hardly wait for the encore.

YAY!

I've waited so long for this book and I'm very happy with it. I got my copy last week and just finished it today. It was awesome!! Jo's grown up a bit and the tension between Morrison and Jo has been ratcheted up a notch...yum!

Can't wait for the next one! (Tell me Jo and Morrison have a 'serious' moment and then have a serious make out session) :D

Anyway, thanks for writing. I thoroughly enjoyed!

I bought the first book in the Negotiator series to hold me over :)

I just received my copy today. Thank you for sending me to Book Love Affair. Not only did I discover a great site, but I won the book give away. Psychic powers or not, I can't wait to read Walking Dead. I read the first chapter a couple of weeks ago and was hooked. I'm heading to my favorite chair and my family won't hear from me again until I'm done.

*beams* I loved putting her in this book. Glad you liked it!

I've no idea what Amazon's thing is, really. I'm sure there's some esoteric explanation, but noooooo clue here. :)
